A wax coated bolus containing a large supply (43g) of calcium. Bovikalc is designed for use in cows just prior to, or just after calving. Bovikalc helps farmers manage the calcium status of their herd over the calving period.
Technology
Bovikalc boluses are designed to dissolve in the rumen within 20 minutes. Calcium is then released in two forms, calcium chloride and calcium sulphate and this calcium is available to the animal for a period of 36 hours.
